scene. >> a family of four inside their home was found dead. the investigation continues this afternoon. at the high school of one of the children students are mourning. that story is coming up. >> we can together no matter what. >> @ westfield high, there was a gathering among students. hundreds of students most wearing black held hands as their classmates was remembered. >> he had a lot of friends. >> the sophomore was found dead in his herndon home along with the bodies of his eight great brother and their parents. police searched the home and the crime scene unit is back at the house now. >> [inaudible] >> rose macintosh and her

employee health and welfare plans. we will have more on both decisions at night tonight at 5:00 on abc 7 news. if all soldier has been laid to rest in arlington national cemetery. jummy olabanji has more. >> sunny skies and silence led the horse-drawn casket to its final resting place 3 she was buried among the thousands who paid the ultimate sacrifice. her casket was draped in the stars and stripes. it is fitting for a young woman who put her love of country over herself. she died on september 5 when her helicopter crashed in afghanistan. she joined the army in 2003 and became a pilot in 2008. she -- it was one of the most dangerous positions available to women in the military today. dozens of her fellow comrades made the trip from fort bragg

this eve and at quantico. veterans will meet with potential employers at 3:00 p.m. this afternoon. amtrak service has been disrupted between wilmington and philadelphia. no word on when service will be restored. today on the campaign trail both presidential candidates are campaigning in the battleground state of ohio. president obama holds the lead over mitt romney by 10 points in the buckeye state. the president also has a lead in florida. they are scheduled to campaign in virginia tomorrow. president will be in virginia beach while mitt romney will be at a rally in springfield. there's a big fur step in getting the washington monument repaired. the national park service awarded the $9.5 million

>> the wildfire burning in rural san diego county is now 65% contained and a broken out sunday and has burned nearly 4.5 square miles and destroying 11 homes. the fire is threatening nearly a dozen homes and nearly 1000 firefighters are battling the blaze. tonight on abc 7 news, there is a new way to deal with the battlefield. it has to do with video games. service members can get ready for combat by virtual -- with virtual games that has the same intensity as real war scenarios. we go to quantico to give you a peek at new technology. that is to night on abc 7 news at 5:00. football fans are not the only ones upset about the nfl replacement referees.
